in the meantime, i've been working on these distractions. so enjoy blame them:

• JPlaylister - a potentially useful project piggybacking on (the awesome) HTML5 media player, jPlayer, which supports flash failover (for older browsers...sadly, they still exist in abundance) and is ridiculously cross platform, themeable, and tons of fun in general. My meager contribution is some php which aids in playlist creation by reading the contents of a folder (and subfolders) and generating a jPlayer-friendly playlist from what it finds. Some other features are added such as a few sorting options and URL-based arguments for autoplay and the likes.
• Bandcamp Downloader - Bandcamp fans may enjoy this experiment which captures playable bandcamp songs to downloadble files. Anyone willing to puruse the source of any given bandcamp page could get the songs themselves...but this downloader makes it faster and attemtps to name the resulting files appropriately instead of forcing you do it.
